Winter warmers training program – June

June is a “recovery” and “building base” month with most Comrades runners taking a complete rest.

This morning we still had a full car park that included some Lemmings/B School, the Fledglings, the Walkers and Beginners group!

For all the runners June is all about getting back to some very easy “base” training to build up fitness.

Run 2 to 3 times during the week and a longer 10/12 to 15km run on a Saturday.

I have scheduled the June Saturday runs for 06h30 start times so that you can at least run in the sunshine one day a week.

Runs are short so starting 30mins later should means still finishing fairly early.

WED 12 JUNE – 8 to 10k easy run – Captains choice

THU 13 JUNE – 8 to 10k easy run – Captains choice

FRI  14 JUNE – Rest

SAT 15 JUNE – 06h30 – easy 10 to 15km Captains choices. Pat and Andy will as usual provide post run refreshments.
