Marathon training program – MARCH #10

This week is either a recovery week if you did Vaal or a taper week if you are racing Edenvale this weekend.

We do one quality session which we did this morning, our usual pre-race short Tempo run.

Wednesday is a recovery run over 10 or 12km and then easy till the weekend.

Next week we start our mid-week longer run BIG BERYL – earlier start times will be confirmed in Mondays training mail.

Comrades training gets serious next week with 13 weeks to go!

WED 06 MAR – 12k easy run starting 04h45 and usual 10k easy starting at 05h00 – captains choices

THU 07 MAR  – 10km easy recovery run – captains choices

FRI  08 MAR – Rest or easy run

SAT 09 MAR – No official club runs planned – schools can decide distance/time if they want to run – Pat and Andy will open for refreshments as usual.

SUN 10 MAR – 06h00 – Edenvale 10/21/42km
